  • This has been designed to incorporate a frame & ballast in one product.

    The Ecowedge is moulded to a shallow 10° pitch inset with a section of rail at the top & bottom.

    The versatility of this product is proven through the ability to suit both ‘Landscape’ & ‘Portrait’ orientations and two methods of fixing.

    The first method is to clamp the module directly to the Ecowedge. The second method, which shows its true strength, is to supplement PV rail across an array of Ecowedges, allowing greater intervals between them. The module is then clamped to the PV rail.This is the preferred method when creating multiple arrays as it cuts the number of Ecowedges required and in turn reduces roof loadings.

    The other benefit of the Ecowedge is its green credentials. It uses recycled rubber from vehicle tyres eliminating any requirement to use a concrete product, which use ast amounts of energy to manfacture, to achieve the high ballast targets.
